how do adults make friends?

lets say i move to california. i wont know a single person there. not including friends i know, but i mean people that i would actually interact with.

in more general terms, even people at work now, how do they make friends? college and below, there are people around you that you can actually meet and befriend. but once you're in the workplace, besides people you know from church, how does one make friends? meaning, what if someone doesnt go to church, and doesnt have that fellowship connection? how would they make non-coworker friends? that sounds so desolate.

it must suck to grow up.

A ship is called she because there is always a great deal of bustle around her; there is usually a gang of men. She has a waist and stays; it takes a lot of paint to keep her looking good. It's not the initial expense that breaks you, it is the upkeep. She can be all decked out. It takes an experienced man to handle her correctly; and without a man at the helm, she is absolutely uncontrollable. hah. me and my crazy thoughts when i daydream.

but don't you agree that the best place to meet girls or guys on vacation is the pool at the hotel? (~~of course besides the beach, the number one location~~ actually no. here's why.) cuz you can see if you like the girl/guy or not, and you can relax a little and chat and get to know the other person a little, and if you like them enough... ...you did pay for a hotel room right upstairs, you know.

i know, i know. this is a heathenistic idea lol. but its true.

why does everyone say like, are you trying to pretend to be something? like, if i want my hair a certain way, it doens't mean i made it that way because i want to LOOK LIKE someone. why can't i look like myself? why do i have to look like "the beatles" or whatever. that just pisses me off. why can't anyone have originality. esp cuz i'm younger than them.

so i saw this email from Jesusbranded. it asked me why i support Jesusbranded. i have a few reasons.

one, i love Jesus. i think spreading the message is vital in so many different ways. in many different methods. and a t shirt is an efficient way of doing so! cuz everyone sees it and its like a statement.

i believe clothing defines who you are. if you are a business man and dress casual or executive-ly, then it obviously shows that you are professional. but if you are dressing in like a muscle tee and gym shorts, it shows you are more athletic (well for the most part). so that shows how clothing kind of lets people know who you are, or what you're about. by wearing shirts from Jesusbranded, it not only looks fashionable, but interesting. interesting to people, which makes people ask "hey man, whats your shirt about?" and then you can tell them about God's love, or his forgiveness, or his providence for every one of us. and Jesusbranded even has a ton of different styles for peoples varying tastes.

and just as itself, the t shirts look so cool.

i stopped posted because i dont have much stuff to say! i only have a lot to say if im upset or lonely or depressed etc! but i havent been lately. thats why. haha sorry that you have less to relate to.
